Jillian Japka, Third & Urban

Jillian leads multi-family development at Third & Urban. In this role, Jillian oversees project underwriting, entitlement, design development, construction, and lease-up.

Prior to joining Third & Urban, Jillian worked as a Development Manager at The Allen Morris Company, where she was responsible for development execution and pursuits in Atlanta. Jillian led development of Star Metals Offices and Residences, which delivered 1.5M square feet of mixed-use development to West Midtown Atlanta.

Jillian previously worked as a Development Manager at The RADCO Companies, where she oversaw value-add development for over 40 multi-family deals. Before moving to Atlanta, Jillian worked to development several luxury townhome communities in emerging neighborhoods in Philadelphia. Jillian started her career as an architecture intern at [STRANG] Architecture in Miami.

Jillian holds a degree in architecture from Bennington College in Vermont. She is a graduate of the ULI Center for Leadership and actively involved in ULI’s Women’s Leadership Initiative. Jillian recently served as Vice President of the Reynoldstown Civic Improvement League. In her spare time, Jillian is a writer and editor for the minimalist design magazine Minimalissimo. Jillian lives with her husband, Christian, in Serenbe, Georgia.
