KATHERINE MOLYSON is our featured guest for June!
Whoa, this woman is accomplished:
She began her career in architecture, but quickly shifted to roles as an owner's representative project manager in order to influence macrolevel thinking on scope, budget and schedules. She incorporated Yellow Bird Project Management in April of 2017 as a boutique brand representing developers and owners. Her expertise includes capital improvement work, building re-envisioning, and corporate workplace strategy. She also pursues involvement with base building development. Ms. Molyson takes great pride in balancing aesthetics with schedule and budget management. Speaking of which, did you know she was the key player in making the STEALTH sculpture happen?
She also has a strong history of both civic and community involvement. She served on the Technical Advisory Panel for the City of Atlanta Office of Buildings from 2012 - 2017. She serves on the Dad’s Garage Improv Theater Executive Board of Directors and leads the Building Task Force. She is a graduate of the 2014 class of Outstanding Atlanta, 2013 class of LEAD Atlanta, 2011 class of ULI Atlanta Center for Leadership. She served as Chair 2014 ULI Center for Leadership. She was a 2016 Juror for the ULI Hines Student Competition. She chairs the Les Societe des Tetes Grandes (“The Big Heads”), supporting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Oh yeah, and she's super nice, passionate about gender equity, and easy to talk to about all of the above.
